Donald Trump is turning 80 in a couple of weeks. Considering the average American man lives to around 76, that makes him quite old. His advanced age has become very noticeable since he returned to office. The mainstream media often ignores his mental and physical struggles, but he seems to be personally aware that he won't be around forever.

In terms of his observable decline, there's the fact that Trump's hand seems to be constantly bruised and covered in a thick layer of makeup. The administration has attributed this to too much handshaking and his aspirin regimen, which sounds like bullshit to me, but I don't know his health situation.

We've also seen Trump with swollen ankles, which have been attributed to chronic venous insufficiency. That's something a lot of old people deal with, and it's a problem with the veins in your legs. It's not typically life-threatening, but it can lead to complications.

Then, of course, there's Trump's mental acuity. I think people have trouble judging whether Trump's brain is working or not because he has been an erratic, weird, deranged human being for a long time. That being said, I think there's a strong argument to be made for his brain being broken. He's forgetful, he misspeaks a lot and he's often confused. He's certainly not as sharp as he used to be. That's especially apparent when he's falling asleep in meetings.

Trump has talked about his life nearing its end quite a few times—often speaking about whether he'll get into heaven. He's reportedly said he wants to be remembered as one of history's great leaders.

I think this explains many of Trump's recent actions. I think part of the reason he kidnapped the president of Venezuela, started a war with Iran, became obsessed with building a ballroom and an arch is that he wants to leave behind a legacy. He's thinking about how he'll be remembered after he's gone, and he's decided that doing big things in his final years will guarantee that he is remembered. That's why he puts his name on so many things.

As I mentioned, the mainstream media rarely pays much attention to the fact that the president is in decline. They loved to scream about Joe Biden being too old to be president, but they often act as if everything is normal with Trump. That has slowly started to change in recent months, but it's still barely being covered.

Trump will be celebrating his 80th birthday with a UFC match in front of the White House. Seriously. They're building a giant UFC ring on the White House lawn, because we have truly become the stupidest, trashiest country imaginable. If we're lucky, maybe he'll put on some gloves and enter the octagon.
